Some of you might have met this situation: when you are using Sky3ds playing games and want to switch to next game, but failed savedata of the previous game, in this article you will get to know a good way to decrease the risk of savedata failure.
As we all know, Sky3ds switching to next game you need to press the blue button to achieve it, this way may be a little annoying if there are so many game ROMs in your Sky3ds micro sd card, so we suggest only put your favorite regularly played game ROMs in the micro sd card. And what's more, donot put your favorite regularly played game ROMs in the first place when write/flash games by DiskWriter, it's better to put a quite small KB game ROM which you donot like to enjoy in the first place. Let's take a 8GB SanDisk Micro SD Card for example:
Read below a good way decreasing the risk of savedata failure when use the Sky3ds flashcard:
0x10000 64MB--->defaultly SDY3DS will take the capacity, the first game ROM will be started with 0x10000
The list of game ROMs in Sky3ds:
1. ROM1 512MB 0206 - Zelda no Densetsu - Toki no Ocarina 3D(JP).3DS
2. ROM2 1GB 1155 - Final_Fantasy_Explorers_JPN_3DS-Caravan.3DS
3. ROM3 2GB 0215 - Fire Emblem - Kakusei (JP).3ds
4. ROM4 4GB 1060 - Monster Hunter 4G(JP).3DS
In this list, the first game ROM is not what I want to play, it is just for decreasing the risk of savedata failure, you can choose the smallest 512MB ROM.
The 2/3/4 game ROMs are the games I want to play with Sky3ds, it is the default Sy3ds official mode EEPROM YES, generally speaking, when playing games, the savedata is just temporarily save to SKY3DS EEPROM, only when switching to next game the previous game will automatically save to micro sd card, at the same time, the previous game savedate is also automatically copied to SKY3DS EEPROM.
All in all, donot put your favored game ROM in the first place!
